Pictured in front row, left to right are Daniel B. Purinton, Gov. W.E. Glasscock, President Taft, Mr. Hodges and Dr. I.C. White. Pictured at left on porch are (unknown) Frank Cox, left, and Henry Green, the editor of The Post. The first two men pictured in the back row could not be (named, third unsure) is James L. Lakin, fourth Maj. Butts, hero who lost his life in sinking of Titanic; fifth, a Mr. Sigwart; sixth George C. (Rodgers-unsure); seventh, H.C. Batton; eighth and ninth, unidentified: tenth, Harry Carspecken; and others, M.L. Brown, William Williams, (unknown), Benjamin Rosenbloom, Frank B. Trotter and Dr. A.M. Buckhannon. The men in uniform were members of Gov-(the rest is unclear).

Identified front row, left to right, are Daniel B. Purinton, Gov. W.E. Glasscock, President Taft, Thomas E. Hodges and Dr. I.C. White.  Left, 2nd row: Judge Frank Cox, Henry Green, editor of the Morgantown Post.  The first two men pictured in the back row could not be identified, third is James L. Lakin, fourth Maj. Butts, who lost his life in sinking of Titanic; fifth, Mr. Sigwart; sixth George C. Baker; seventh, H.C. Batton; eight and ninth, unidentified; 10th Harry Carspecken; and others, M. L. Brown, William Williams, E. Donley, Benjamin Rosenbloom, Frank B. Trotter and Dr. A.M. Buckhannon.  The men in uniform were members of the Governor's Staff.'

4. Willey-Wade-White Historical Marker on Court House Square, Morgantown, W. Va.

The courtyard square with a fountain and trees. A historic monument dedicated to Waitman Willey, Alexander I. Wade, and Dr. I.C. White, three prominent men who made prominent gifts to the world. Mr. Willey helped set up the state of West Virginia. Mr. Wade demonstrated a system for graded schools. And Mr. White was a leader in the field of geology.

Grounds of I.C. White property (where White Hall now stands) and WVU Library which was then in the Old Administration Building (now Stewart Hall).  On the Opposite side of the street is the old Lutheran Church which was torn down. A Lutheran student chapel now stands in its stead.
