'Don Knotts regales a youthful audience with tales from intrigue and mystery during a special visit to West Virginia University in the 1970s. Knotts, who worked for WVU when he was a student here in the 1940s, has returned many times to give back to his alma mater.

'Actor Don Knotts played the starring role at a dedication ceremony in his behalf last fall when his Morgantown hometown named a new roadway in his behalf. Knotts grew up in Morgantown and graduated from West Virginia University in 1948 with a degree in theatre.
