The house at the end of the bridge was formerly the property of the late Henry L. Cox, father of Judge Cox. This house was moved about 300 yards up the hill and is now standing in good condition. Note the old Arnett hotel near the west end of the bridge. Shows Mechanical Hall by R. R. and J. W. Wiles house on Highland Avenue. Must have been about 1897.'
