Pleasant Creek Methodist Church was organized in 1800 when Mr. land was donated land for the building.  The church was later rebuilt several times until the current structure was completed in 1903

This local band played at the first Street Fair, which was held yearly for 27 years.Jacob Harsh (b. 5/15/1839-d.4/21/1909) was married to Cinderillia Harsh (b. 3/7/1841-d.9/5/1925) and was brother to Samuel F. Harsh.
