Portrait of Fielding Harris Yost, graduate of Law 1897. 'Hurry Up' Yost was an outstanding tackle for WVU. He subsequently coached at several colleges including University of Michigan where he won six national championships.
Inscribed on the back of the photograph, "Back row left to right- Llewelyn, McWhorter, Lawhead, Miller, Shelby. Middle row- Anderson, Mitchell, Dent, Middleberg. Front row- Lowe, Wilhelm, Pratt. The bat boy- Hartigan. Not sure of the interested spectators. The one in the Iron hat with his legs crossed- Ed Naret. Back of the umbrella in the sailor- Hieronimous, a law student. Man with spinnach- Douthat, a professor. Light Fedora, bow tie and leer, unknown."

View of the Heckert Family Mill and Home at Troy, Gilmer County, W. Va. 'Original photo is very faded and owned by Clyde Moneypenny, age 93 in 1977, Clarksburg, W. Va. 1950 Flood took out Mill Dam. The dam remained long after the mill had fallen down.'

Drusilla Morgan, 1815-1904 is the daughter of Captain Zacquill Morgan, the granddaughter of Colonel Zackquill Morgan and the great aunt of Max Mathers. Nimrod McGeorge is her nephew.
