'The West Virginia University Animal Husbandry Farm on Stewartstown Road has been a headquarters for livestock research in West Virginia for more than 40 years.  Experiment Station animal husbandmen are conducting research in many phases of livestock breeding, feeding, and management here and at the Reymann Memorial Farms in Wardensville, a substation of the University's Agricultural Experiment Station.'

Two presidents and their host meet to discuss the joint meeting of the Philosophy Section of the Ohio College Association and the West Virginia Philosophy Society held on the Ohio University campus during the weekend. Nearly 100 faculty and students from 20 colleges and universities attended the reading of papers and discussions during the two-day meet.

Leroy Myers, right, graduate student at Michigan State University, has received a $3,000 annual fellowship for study in the field of city planning and urban renewal, according to Harold W. Lautner, left, head of the M.S.U. department of landscape architecture and urban planning. On behalf of the donor, the Sears-Roebuck Foundation, J.J. Roden, manager of the Sears store in Lansing, Mich., presents the fellowship certificate to Myers. An assistant professor of geography at West Virginia University, Myers will do advanced study at M.S.U. for the coming two years. Four other individuals studying city planning and urban renewal at other universities received similar awards.

'A SETAF H-34 Helicopter of the 202 Army Aviation Company gently lowered a 600 pound copper angel to the top of the 175 foot Church tower of Sacile, near Udine, Italy Today. The 16 Century tower originally bore a wooden angle which was destroyed by earthquake and bombardment. The statue is slowly lowered by Captain William M. Strawn, Jr., and First Lieutenent Raymon F. Warner while SP-2 Richard L. Boyd, inside the craft, directed the Army crew and Italian workmen in the delicate task.' 'US Army Photograph'.

Boyd, inside the craft directed the Army crew and Italian workmen in the delicate task.
