This institution is located two miles east of Terra Alta, Preston county, on the main line of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. Only local trains stop here. All passenger trains stop at Terra Alta, which is also the express office. Hopemont is located on State Route number 7. Number of patients in June 30, 1930 was 392.
