This church burnt down on Jan. 13, 1913.
The church was organized in 1861.  The church house was built in 1869 and a new church was dedicated in 1870.  In 1915 Bula Baptist Church joined with Union and West Warren Baptist Churches.
A group of girls sits on the steps of Burns Chapel.  The church was meeting in a school house in 1850.  Plans for a church began in 1906 and building began that summer.  The church was dedicated in 1908.
The church was organized in 1819 and a building was completed in 1822.  The Episcopalians and the Presbyterians shared the church in 1861 until a disagreement suspended the Episcopalian use of it until 1874.  The present church moved to it's current location in 1900 and in 1952 a new church building was finished.
