A view of a memorial stone at Jackson's Mill. It reads: 'This tablet marks the site of the boyhood home of General T. J. 'Stonewall' Jackson, a soldier of great military genius and renown, a man of resolute, pure and Christian character. Died May 10, 1863 of wounds received at the Battle of Chancellorsville, Virginia.'
Inscription reads ' Presented By English Gentlemen As A Tribute Of Admiration For The Soldier And Patriot Thomas J. Jackson. And Carefully Accepted By Virginia In The Name Of The Southern People Done A.D.1875.'
