The other men were from the U.S. Forest Service and were in charge of men at work clearing the right of way for the dam. No funds were appropriated for the construction of Bluestone Dam, so the C.C.C. Co. 524 was cancelled and all men were transferred to other C.C.C. camps in West Virginia
